Seems like, when deleting a big number of records from server,
other user session will get effected as well.
So conclusion: the server machine should be powerful enough to handle things, otherwise, multiple user using system will causing issues. if one is doing very heavy stuff like deleting a bunch of stuff. the other user ‘s process will be interrupted.
So definitely should not do syncing for multiple device at same time.
As matter of fact, when syncing, do not have other process going. Meaning, close all your other devices desktop, laptop, ipad, etc.
Only leave the one that doing sync.
Alternative or necessary for now is to make the machine more powerful and estimate the cost.
Action1: Open file from local FileMaker Pro same as FileMaker Server machine. Then try to delete all records from one table that has 25 million records.
Action2: from a remote FileMaker Pro 19 to open the system and try to go to the Database.
Action3: open from another remote machine, and saw that file is hanging during the time when the system doing the action 1 and 2.
Server is on Azure, and not powerful.
